Qualifications

• Substantial experience of teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
• Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and statutory assessment requirements.
• Experience preparing pupils for KS2 SATs and securing strong pupil outcomes.
• High expectations of achievement, behaviour and presentation.
• Adaptable and resilient, able to respond to changing priorities.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to use assessment effectively to inform teaching and accelerate progress.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners.
• Active contribution to the wider life and Christian ethos of the school.
