Job summary

New Directions Holdings Limited is seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Salford. This full-time, temporary role offers weekly PAYE pay between £700 and £900, starting as soon as possible. You will deliver lessons across KS2, support SATs preparation, and monitor pupil progress within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has recent KS2 (Year 6) experience, and demonstrates strong classroom management and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and be eligible to teach in the UK.
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and organisation.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for SATs and support them to reach their potential.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress regularly.
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Create a positive, engaging classroom environment and maintain high behaviour standards.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and colleagues; communicate with parents when needed.
