Job summary

Central Walker Church of England Primary School is seeking a dedicated Year 6 teacher to strengthen our KS2 team. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, focused on ensuring excellent pupil progress and readiness for end of Key Stage 2 assessments.

The role requires strong curriculum knowledge, experience teaching Year 6, and a commitment to supporting pupils academically and emotionally during this transition year. You will collaborate with staff and engage with parents to support learners.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and Year 6/Upper KS2 experience.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and drive pupil progress, including End KS2 preparation.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons to meet diverse pupil needs, academically and emotionally.
