Job summary

Milk Education are partnering with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe, Manchester, to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Teacher from January 2027. The role is full-time and temporary with potential for a permanent contract, ideal for an ECT or an experienced teacher who wants consistency and a supportive environment focused on pupil wellbeing and attainment.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT working towards/holding QTS.
• Experience or confidence teaching Key Stage 2.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Support pupil progress, attainment, and wellbeing within your class.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and differentiate for SEND.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues across the school.
• Contribute to safeguarding and the wider life of the school.
