Job summary

Milk Education are partnering with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe, Manchester, to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Teacher from January 2027. The role is full-time and temporary with potential for a permanent contract, ideal for an ECT or an experienced teacher who wants consistency and a supportive environment focused on pupil wellbeing and attainment.

Milk Education are working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe, Manchester, who are looking for a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher looking for a consistent, full-time teaching position from January through to the end of the academic year. For the right candidate, there is also the potential to secure a permanent contract with the school.

You'll be joining a supportive school community where pupil wellbeing, inclusion and community are at the heart of everything they do. The school is looking for someone who wants to become a familiar and valued member of the team and make a genuine difference to their pupils.

The Role - Year 5 Teacher

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Take responsibility for the progress, attainment and wellbeing of pupils within your class.
• Create a positive, stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
• Differentiate teaching and learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Assess pupil progress and use assessment information to inform future planning.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and the wider school team.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and its inclusive community.
• Follow school policies and maintain high standards of safeguarding and behaviour.
