TeacherActive are seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher for a long-term role in Pontypool. Immediate start in a Year 5 class, with hours 08:30am–15:30pm, delivering engaging lessons and supporting KS2 outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold QTS/NQT with KS2 experience, strong planning and classroom management, and a solid safeguarding understanding. The agency offers ongoing support and market-rate pay.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or NQT status.
• Experience teaching up to Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Excellent planning, organisation and classroom management.
• Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Teach in Year 5 class and deliver engaging lessons.
• Maintain strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Be flexible with working hours 08:30–15:30 and manage day-to-day classroom needs.
