Job summary

TeacherActive are partnering with a community Primary School in Pontypool, Wales to recruit a dedicated Primary School Teacher for a long-term temporary role. The position is in Year 5 and runs 08:30am–15:30pm, delivering across the Key Stage 2 curriculum and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development.

The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status or be an NQT, with strong planning, organisation and safeguarding knowledge to ensure an excellent classroom experience for

Qualifications

• Experience teaching up to Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Strong planning, organisation and classroom management.
• Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach in Year 5 class with 08:30–15:30 timetable.
• Create engaging lessons aligned to the curriculum.
• Engage pupils and foster a positive learning environment.

The Primary School is looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher on a long-term basis. The successful applicant will be working in the Year 5 class and will need to be flexible between the times of 08:30am – 15:30pm. This role will be paramount in helping students receive an excellent classroom experience that entices them to engage with all aspects of the curriculum. This opportunity will be a great experience to expand your skills and fulfil your career as a Primary School Teacher.

The successful Primary School Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / NQT
