Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd. is recruiting a Year 5 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Uxbridge, with ASAP start and a full-time contract. The role involves planning and delivering engaging Year 5 lessons, monitoring progress, and supporting pupils toward their learning goals.

The successful candidate will have QTS, KS2 experience, and strong classroom management, working collaboratively with colleagues while upholding safeguarding standards and contributing to the wider school community.

Qualifications

• QTS holder with primary KS2 teaching experience.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons.
• Strong classroom management and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing feedback to support continued development.
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning, confidence, and good behaviour.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for pupils.
• Contribute to school activities, enrichment opportunities, and the wider life of the school.
• Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and the welfare of all pupils.
