Job summary

Teaching Personnel partners with a welcoming primary school in Whitefield, Greater Manchester to recruit a Year 5 Teacher on a full-time basis. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 and support pupils as they transition into upper KS2.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting in October. The successful candidate will hold QTS, have KS2 experience, and bring strong classroom and behaviour management, differentiation skills, and excellent communication to

• Hold QTS and recent KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Able to differentiate learning for a range of abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils as they prepare for the transition into upper Key Stage 2.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leaders.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
