Job summary

Philosophy Education seeks a Year 5 Primary Class Teacher for a vibrant 2-form entry primary school in Croydon. The role is full-time and long-term, based in Croydon, with a warm, diverse community and collaborative working environment.

You will plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons, work with a parallel teacher, differentiate for SEND/EAL learners, and contribute to whole-school CPD and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status and UK National Curriculum experience.
• Experience delivering KS2/Year 5 curriculum and assessments.
• Experience with EAL and SEND pupils.
• Collaborative approach with a parallel teacher in a 2-form entry school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic Year 5 lessons aligned to KS2.
• Collaborate with the parallel Year 5 teacher on planning and resources.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all abilities including EAL/SEND.
• Support pupils' emotional well-being and school culture.
• Use data to monitor progress and target interventions.
• Build strong relationships with families and the Croydon community.
