Qualifications

• Collaborative approach in a 2-form entry environment with a parallel teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic, broad-based lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum.
• Partner with your parallel Year 5 teacher for joint planning and resource development.
• Differentiate learning to support children of all abilities, including EAL and SEND pupils.
• Support children's emotional well-being and personal growth alongside academic progress.
• Use positive behaviour management techniques to maintain an encouraging classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and use data to target interventions effectively.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, colleagues, and the wider Croydon community.
• Participate in whole-school CPD, staff meetings, and extracurricular events.
