Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Garston (L19). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or aspiring education professional to gain valuable classroom experience within Key Stage 2.

You will support Year 4 pupils, work with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted interventions, helping create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and ability to deliver engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 4 classroom.
• Deliver small group interventions in literacy and numeracy.
• Provide one-to-one support where required.
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource management.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding.
