Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for full-time, daily supply roles available from as soon as possible in Brackley and surrounding areas. You will deliver KS2 lessons, create an inclusive classroom, and assess pupil progress while collaborating with colleagues to adapt learning activities.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has recent KS2 experience (preferably Year 4), demonstrates strong classroom management, and can deliver the national curriculum.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• KS2 teaching experience, ideally Year 4.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Confident delivering the national curriculum and meeting varied learning needs.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Year 4 Teacher – Full-time, daily supply from as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Year 4 Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings in Brackley and the surrounding areas.

Duties as Year 4 Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
• Assess and monitor pupil attainment, providing feedback and support
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and adapt learning activities
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote a respectful learning culture
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Ideal Year 4 Teacher:

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
• Is confident delivering the national curriculum and supporting varied learning needs
• Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
