  • Monitor and assess pupil development and progress.

Are you a hard-working and attentive individual looking for the opportunity to start or continue you career as a Year 4 Teacher? We, Academics, are looking for a suitable candidate to support as a Supply Teacher for a number of our reputable schools in Birmingham. This Teaching opportunity starts in September 2026 and is daily work that has the potential to become long-term for the right candidate. This position is ideal for individuals who are seeking a more flexible role at the moment but would be up for a more long-term role in the future.

Key responsibilities of a Year 4 Teacher include:
  • Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
  • Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
  • Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
  • Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
  • To monitor and assess pupils development
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
  • Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
