Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher for a primary school in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. The role starts January 2026 on an ongoing basis with potential to become permanent. You will plan, deliver and assess KS2 lessons in a supportive environment where pupil wellbeing and staff development are priorities.

We are looking for a QTS holder with proven KS2 experience, excellent classroom management, and the ability to work well in a team. Competitive pay rates are paid weekly via PAYE.

Year 4 Teacher to join their team starting

January 2026 on an ongoing basis and potentially leading to a permanent contract for the right Teacher.

The Role

As the

Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging, creative lessons that bring the KS2 curriculum to life. safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Track pupil progress, provide meaningful feedback, and celebrate success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive learning experience.
• Inspire curiosity, confidence and a genuine love of learning in your pupils.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with
• proven experience in Key Stage 2
• Is passionate about inspiring and supporting every learner
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Brings creativity, enthusiasm and adaptability to their teaching
• Can work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents
• Is available for the full duration of this maternity cover contract
