Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd is seeking a Year 4 Primary Teacher for a full-time position at a welcoming school in Maidenhead. You will deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and differentiate for diverse abilities while maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.

The role requires QTS (or working towards) with experience in primary education, particularly KS2. Salary is on the MPS/UPS scale, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• QTS is required or working towards the qualification.
• Experience in primary school teaching is essential.
• Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and pupils’ needs.
• Ability to engage and develop pupils academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Teach the Year 4 curriculum across core and wider subjects.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying development areas.
• Use varied teaching strategies to engage pupils.
• Differentiate for varying abilities including SEND.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, SENCO and school team.
• Contribute to planning, assessment and school activities.
• Keep accurate records of progress, attendance and attainment.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
• Participate in trips, assemblies and continuing professional development.
• Follow safeguarding, health, safety and confidentiality policies.
