Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a KS2 setting.
• Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and learning objectives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted Maths and Literacy interventions to small groups of Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Provide classroom support to ensure pupils remain engaged and make good progress.
• Assist the class teacher with the preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Support the implementation of learning activities in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Help to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Provide support for pupils with additional needs where required.
