Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in South Manchester to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for an immediate start. The role is full-time and the successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across Year 4 within KS2, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.

The school seeks an experienced teacher with a solid KS2 understanding, capable of differentiating instruction and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
• Have suitable references covering recent experience.
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that support progress across Year 4 and KS2.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and create a calm, inclusive classroom.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and maintain high expectations.
• Work effectively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues and the wider school team.
