Teaching Personnel Ltd. is supporting a welcoming primary school in Bolton to recruit a Year 4 Class Teacher starting in December. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS2, fostering a positive classroom environment and supporting pupil progress.

The ideal candidate will have QTS and experience teaching KS2, with strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate for all abilities. This temporary role offers regular weekly pay and ongoing opportunities through Teaching Personnel.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching KS2, preferably Year 4.
• Ability to differentiate learning to support all pupils.
• Excellent classroom management and organisation.

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Bolton area, who are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from December. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact across the KS2 curriculum.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for the Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. The ideal teacher will be confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum, able to foster a positive classroom environment, and passionate about helping pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
• Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
• Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities
• Work closely with colleagues, including SEN staff and subject leads
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to differentiate learning to support all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
