Engage Partners Limited is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Watford. This full-time, long-term role requires delivering engaging lessons, high expectations, and strong pupil support as pupils transition to secondary education.

You will lead a Year 6 class, collaborate with staff, and contribute to a positive learning environment while emphasising SATs preparation and KS2 curriculum mastery.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Year 6 or upper KS2 experience would be highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Confident supporting pupils with SATs preparation.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Organised, reliable and a good team player.
• Passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a Year 6 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Support pupils with preparation for KS2 SATs.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support pupils academically and emotionally as they prepare for secondary school.
