Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Cheam, Sutton, starting September 2026. This is a full-time supply role, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with pay of £150–£180 per day (PAYE).

The role requires planning KS2/Year 3 lessons, creating an inclusive classroom, and assessing pupil progress. QTS or equivalent is required; Google Classroom experience is desirable; you will work with teaching assistants and staff.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school is expected.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging KS2/Year 3 lessons.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
• Differentiate learning to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school staff.
