Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Cheam, Sutton, starting September 2026. This is a full-time supply role, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with pay of £150–£180 per day (PAYE).

The role requires planning KS2/Year 3 lessons, creating an inclusive classroom, and assessing pupil progress. QTS or equivalent is required; Google Classroom experience is desirable; you will work with teaching assistants and staff.

Year 3 Class Teacher | Primary School | Cheam, Sutton | September Start

Location: North Cheam, Sutton. Start Date: September 2026.

Job Type: Full-Time Supply Teacher. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Pay: £150 to £180 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Experience teaching KS2 or Year 3 is desirable.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Confident using Google Classroom or willing to quickly learn the platform.
• Passionate about helping children succeed and develop a love of learning.
