Job summary

Four Oaks Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our friendly, forward-thinking team from January 2027 for two terms. You will deliver high-quality lessons in a Year 2 class, plan using varied approaches and use formative assessment to support every child’s progress.

You will work with teaching assistants and leaders who are committed to supporting you and to safeguarding and pupil welfare in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and official teaching registration.
• Experience teaching in Year 2 or Key Stage 1.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Ability to plan and deliver a high-quality curriculum.

Responsibilities

About the Role

This fixed-term position covers 2 terms, teaching a Year 2 class. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality curriculum, using a variety of learning approaches, and strong formative assessment to ensure every child makes excellent progress.

You will work closely with experienced teaching assistants, other class teachers, and senior leaders, all of whom are committed to supporting you throughout your time with us.
