Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting a Year 2 Class Teacher in Liverpool to lead a KS1 class with responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing lessons. The role requires QTS and experience in Key Stage 1, with a focus on Reading, Writing and Maths.

Salary: £140.00 - £200 per day (Experience Dependent)

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary / Temp-to-Perm

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 2 class? We are working closely with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in the North Liverpool area of Liverpool to appoint a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team during a crucial stage of children's development. You will take full responsibility for the class, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the classroom experience, ensuring every child transitions successfully into Key Stage 1.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
  • Full Class Responsibility: Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
  • Inclusion & Differentiation: Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
  • Assessment & Strategy: Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
  • Collaborative Working: Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.
