Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher for a South Liverpool primary school. You will deliver high-quality KS1 lessons, manage the class, and support pupil progress in Reading, Writing and Maths.

The role offers full-time temporary/Temp-to-Perm arrangements with competitive daily rates of £140-£200, dependent on experience, and a supportive school community with ongoing professional development and safeguarding with Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in Key Stage 1 and understanding of pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
  • Full Class Responsibility: Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
  • Inclusion & Differentiation: Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
  • Assessment & Strategy: Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
  • Collaborative Working: Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 1 class? We are working closely with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in the South Liverpool area of Merseyside to appoint a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher.
