Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Year 2 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Manchester (M16). The role is part-time, three days per week, until December with an ASAP start.

You will join a collaborative team and take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum. The ideal candidate is an experienced KS1 teacher with QTS and strong KS1 knowledge, able to support pupils with diverse needs and maintain positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Recent primary teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Year 2 experience would be highly desirable.
• Good classroom management skills.
• A calm, nurturing and consistent approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons.

This is a part-time position, three days per week, running until December, and would suit an experienced KS1 teacher looking for a flexible long-term opportunity.

The school is a friendly and inclusive primary school with a strong focus on creating a positive learning environment where children feel supported, confident and ready to learn. The successful teacher will join a collaborative team and take responsibility for a Year 2 class.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.
