Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Year 2 class at a Speke primary school in Liverpool from January 2026. You will support the class teacher and provide targeted help to pupils with SEND, helping each child reach their full potential.

This full-time role is based in Speke and offers ongoing training, a supportive leadership team, and pathways for progression within SEND support or teaching routes. DBS checks and relevant qualifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational settings.
• Patient, nurturing and passionate about supporting children's development.
• Understanding of SEND and ability to support SEND learners.

Responsibilities

• Support the Year 2 teacher and whole class as needed.
• Provide academic and emotional support to pupils with SEND.
• Help create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff on tailored interventions.
