Job summary

Aura Education is recruiting a caring Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils, including those with SEND, at a welcoming Liverpool primary school. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a daily rate of £106.

You will work alongside the class teacher to help pupils access the curriculum, provide 1:1 and small‑group support, adapt activities for different abilities, and foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom where every child can progress and grow.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or other barriers to learning.
• Experience in a primary school environment is preferred.
• Commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupils access the curriculum with targeted SEND support.
• Provide 1:1 and small‑group assistance to learners.
• Adapt activities to meet different abilities and learning styles.
• Assist with classroom resources and behaviour support.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure consistent progress.
