Job summary

Pertemps Education Network is seeking a dedicated Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with autism at a primary school in Tulse Hill, Lambeth, starting September 2026.

This full-time, term-time only role focuses on helping the pupil access learning, develop social skills and thrive within an inclusive classroom. The position offers ongoing professional development opportunities and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Year 2 pupils in SEN settings, especially Autism.
• Patient, caring and resilient with strong communication.
• Willingness to implement strategies from SENCO and professionals.
• Ability to work closely with the class teacher to adapt activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year2 pupil with Autism.
