Job summary

White Meadows Primary Academy in Littlehampton is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to lead Year 2 while continuing to teach. You will drive high-quality teaching, support curriculum delivery, and work with senior leaders to raise pupil outcomes across the year group.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and support for colleagues within Year 2.
• Champion high-quality teaching and learning to secure strong outcomes.
• Support curriculum planning, implementation and consistency across Year 2.
• Monitor pupil progress and attainment and identify actions to close gaps.
• Ensure effective assessment practices, moderation and KS assessments preparation.
• Lead year group meetings and contribute to whole-school improvement priorities.
• Model outstanding classroom practice and share expertise.
• Develop less experienced staff through coaching and collaboration.
