Job summary

A leading educational agency in Liverpool is looking for a passionate KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary SEN School. The role involves supporting students’ learning and emotional needs on a 1:1 basis, collaborating with teachers, and promoting an inclusive environment. Qualifications

  • Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
  • Must have a passion for education.
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Must have experience using Personal Care.

Responsibilities

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
  • Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs.
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate.
  • Deliver catch-up sessions.

Skills

Recent experience with children and young people

KS1 Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a Primary SEN School in Liverpool (L27) to work on a long-term basis.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a setting that values every child’s potential.

The school is seeking a patient, nurturing individual who can provide consistent support, keep the child focused, and help meet their individual learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing resources, supporting daily tasks, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
