Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Ince, WN2, to work one-to-one with a Year 1 child. The role is long-term and temporary, starting as soon as possible, with full-time hours 08:30am-15:30pm.

You will support learning, help deliver catch-up sessions, assist planning and resources, and contribute to an inclusive classroom. As a APSCo Compliance+ agency, we provide ongoing support and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a Year 1 pupil one-to-one, responding to their individual needs
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
