Milk Education is seeking a Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil one-to-one in Hindley Green (WN2). The role is long-term, full-time, 08:30–15:30 with a 30-minute lunch. You will work with the class teacher to deliver lessons, support catch-up sessions, and promote inclusive learning.

Ideal candidates have recent school-based experience, solid numeracy and literacy skills, and Level 2/3 childcare or equivalent. APSCo compliant, flexible and supportive environment.

Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant

We're currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Hindley Green, WN2 to work one-to-one with a Year 1 child. This role is on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible and is a temporary role. The full-time working hours are 08:30am- 15:30pm and you will have a 30-minute lunch break.

You'll be joining a vibrant and caring school, focused on supporting children to be respectful and kind. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a Year 1 pupil one-to-one, responding to their individual needs
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps

Requirements or Skills:

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
