Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in the TS12 area is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supply team in a welcoming primary school.

The role involves providing general Teaching Assistant support in Year 1 and 1:1 support where needed for pupils with SEN, including autism, with nurturing and consistent guidance.

The role starts ASAP and is long-term for the right person, with salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism, within a primary school.
• Ability to support self-regulation and emotional regulation in pupils.
• Patience and adaptability when working with mixed-ability learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom TA support in Year 1 and 1:1 support where needed.
• Support pupil self-regulation and positive behaviours for learning.
• Assist with transitions, classroom routines, and learning activities.
• Support communication, social development and independence.
