Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a part-time Year 1 Class Teacher for an Ofsted Good primary in West London. The role is suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers, with potential extension or permanent placement based on performance.

Contracted as temporary, 3 months, term-time only, starting 07/09/2026. Daily rate £150–£180, 8:15am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, West London location.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Year 1 class instruction and manage general class duties.
• Attend and contribute to planning and assessment activities.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupil progression.

The school is a popular three‑form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. It is growing and provides training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT’s and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.
