Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring for a full-time yard/branch position where you will greet customers, assess needs, and provide quick and accurate service on the shop floor and yard. You will handle loading and unloading, with forklift training provided, to support sales and customer satisfaction.

The role operates Monday–Friday 7:30–17:00 with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00, offering a dynamic team environment and opportunities to grow within the business.

Qualifications

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build relationships and understand current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)

Responsibilities
