Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, Poole, is seeking a Yard Sales Adviser to join a busy team. You will greet customers, assess needs, and provide efficient service across yard, counter, and shop floor, while supporting loading and unloading activities and forklift use after training.

The role offers a full-time schedule Mon-Fri 7:30–17:00 and alternating Saturdays, with opportunities to develop product knowledge and advance within a supportive, values-driven merchant environment.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers, assess needs and deliver quick, friendly service.

• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Support sales initiatives and develop product knowledge continuously.
• Loading/unloading vehicles manually and with forklift (training provided).
