Joining our friendly and hardworking family as an Yard Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing first-class service.
What will I be doing?
No two days are the same in TP branch life, but here are some key responsibilities:
- Delivering high standards of customer service by being helpful and friendly at all times, building relationships with customers, often on a first-name basis.
- Working outdoors to process customer orders, load and unload vehicles.
- Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately booking them into the branch warehouse.
- Using a forklift is ideal, but full training will be provided.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment to ensure safety standards are upheld.
What skills do you need?
This is a customer-facing role where providing great customer service is essential. We can teach you the rest.
Does this sound like you?
We hope you can say ‘Yes’ to all of the following characteristics, which are part of the DNA of all our Yard Sales Assistants:

- You have a friendly and outgoing personality, comfortable communicating face-to-face with customers and building relationships.
- You are adaptable, resilient, and energetic, with high levels of drive.
- You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
