Job summary

Huws Gray Group in Gaerwen is seeking a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to support day-to-day yard operations and occasional local deliveries. The role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work, practical teamwork, and helping customers get what they need to finish a job.

You’ll receive on-the-job training with opportunities to gain HIAB certification, a class 2 driving licence is required, and forklift experience is a bonus. Flexible working options discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 driving licence with entitlement to operate HGV vehicles.
• Forklift licence is a nice extra but not essential.
• A can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed are valued.
• Training will be provided to achieve HIAB certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service in the yard.
• Safely receiving and organising deliveries; keep yard tidy and secure.
• Assist with loading/unloading of vehicles and deliveries.
• Occasional local deliveries during holidays or staff absences.
• Support with stock security and safety procedures.
