Huws Gray Group Wakefield is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Operative/Relief VanDriver to support our busy yard and deliveries. The role suits someone practical who enjoys hands-on work, helping customers, and staying active outdoors.

You’ll need a Class 2 licence (forklift a bonus). We provide on‑the‑job training, HIAB certification, and a structured plan for development, with potential for progression across our UK branches.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence required for the role.
• Forklift licence is a bonus but not essential.
• Willingness to work outdoors and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service in the yard.
• Safely receive and organise deliveries, keep the yard tidy.
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
• Make occasional local deliveries when covering holidays.
• Maintain stock security and follow safety procedures.
