Job summary

Mawsley Machinery is seeking a hands‑on Yard Person / Driver to join our Northampton site. You will manage yard operations, load/unload machines, and handle delivery admin while supporting service engineers and performing general maintenance.

Key duties include keeping the site tidy, painting machinery, and assisting with parts delivery. A forklift licence and a full clean driving licence are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Yard maintenance and keeping the site clean and tidy.

• Deliver and collect parts and ensure machines are displayed on site.

About The Role

Mawsley Machinery is seeking a motivated, reliable, and hands‑on Yard Person / Driver to join our team at the Mawsley site. In this crucial yard‑based and field‑supported role, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, organization, and safety of our site while ensuring our machinery is immaculately presented and ready for our customers. You will play a vital part in our logistics by managing the safe loading, unloading, and administrative tracking of all incoming and outgoing machine deliveries, alongside supporting our service engineers and executing general maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Yard maintenance
• Keeping the site clean and tidy
• Loading and unloading machines from lorries and trailers
• Completing all administration for all in‑board and out‑board machine deliveries to a high standard
• Cleaning used, service and new machines
• Painting machinery
• General building maintenance
• Supporting and helping the service engineers
• Re‑fueling and de‑fueling machines
• Reporting hazards and any near‑miss accident information
• Adhering to the companies health and safety policies
• Delivering and collecting parts
• Ensuring new machines are displayed on site
• Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your line manager
