Job summary

Travis Perkins plc is seeking a Yard Assistant to support daily yard operations in our Exeter branch. You will process customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and help unload supplier deliveries while accurately logging stock in the warehouse.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable physical performance to handle heavy goods. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for development within the group.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a tidy, safe working environment following health and safety guidelines.
• Experience with forklift operations is beneficial and training is provided.
