Travis Perkins in Gainsborough is seeking a Yard Assistant to support daily yard operations, process customer orders, unload and load vehicles, and help maintain a tidy, safe working environment while delivering friendly service.

You will work outdoors, move heavy stock, and, if trained, operate a forklift. This is a key customer-facing role in a busy branch, with training provided and opportunities to develop skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Key customer facing role requiring enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle heavy and bulky stock within health and safety guidelines.
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and load/unload vehicles.
• Unload building products from supplier deliveries and book them into the branch warehouse.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment; safety is a priority.
• Experience with forklift is ideal; training provided.
