Job summary

IAA, a Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers company, is seeking a Yard Operative in Banbury to keep vehicles prepared and managed for deliveries, collections, marketing and storage. You will move vehicles, clean them for images, and handle logbooks and keys with strict safety and GDPR compliance.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Ongoing training, uniforms, PPE, and health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving license.
• Experience working outdoors in all weathers is required.
• Able to accurately record vehicle damage in the system.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day yard duties: vehicle movement and organisation for deliveries, collections, marketing and storage.
• Clean vehicles to ensure high‑quality images.
• Process logbooks, doc pack and keys per safety and GDPR rules.
• Support GDPR & Salvage Belongings Team with compliance & SLAs.
• Maintain quality control and safety, and liaise with drivers and customers.
• Meet and greet customers, organise loading and manage outstanding payments.
