• Salary/Rate: £24,000 per annum
• Hours: Mon to Fri, 08:00 to 16:00

Responsibilities

Your role will be hands‑on, focusing on the removal of attachments from metals and the efficient processing of scrap metals. You’ll be expected to carry out all tasks in line with site safety procedures, company policies, and health and safety standards. Keeping the work area clean and well‑organised will be part of your daily routine. You’ll also be an integral part of a small, supportive team working together to maintain smooth and effective operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience: Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative, Warehouse Operative, Labourer, Recycling Operative, Refuse Loader, Mechanic, Maintenance Technician.
• Desirable experience: Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Skip Hire, Construction, Demolition, Scrap Metal, Quarries, Aggregates, Fencing, Landscape Gardening, Timber Merchants, Warehousing, Highways Maintenance, Plant Hire, Scaffolding, Groundworks, Maintenance.
• Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions, on your feet all day.
• Experience using hand or power tools.
