Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated, adaptable individual with a positive attitude to join our energetic team in Flixton. The role involves manual work, operating mobile plant, and learning to use on-site bagging machines. Candidates should be able to work in all weather conditions and communicate effectively within a motivated team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production of bagged aggregates.
• Maintain high health and safety standards, reporting issues, accidents, and near misses to the line manager.
• Work collaboratively with the team to produce high-quality bagged aggregates.
• Operate a forklift truck as required.
• Conduct inspections of fixed and mobile plant equipment.
• Bag aggregates into plastic and bulk bags to target levels, with training provided.
• Net and sheet lorries as instructed by the line manager.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, yard operatives, and delivery personnel.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements to promote a safe and equitable workplace.

Knowledge, Training, and Experience

• Good understanding of health and safety practices (preferred).
• Forklift truck license (preferred).
• Training will be provided; experience in relevant areas is advantageous.
