We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone with a strong work ethic who isn't afraid of heavy manual labor. The position involves working with timber and building materials, assisting customers, and keeping the yard organized.

Key Details

1. Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (1 Saturday a month after 12 weeks)
2. Duties: Picking orders, loading/unloading vans/wagons, helping customers, and heavy lifting (big lumps of wood, sheets, etc.)
3. Physical Demands: 85% manual labor—lifting, moving, and organizing materials around the yard.
4. Forklift: Ability to drive a forklift is required.
5. Previous Experience: Background in timber or builders' merchants is preferred but not essential.
6. Overtime: Available after 45 hours.
