Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting Potato Graders for a busy Elsham production site. This is a full-time role with a stable day‑shift schedule and consistent hours, offering a supportive team environment.

You will grade potatoes by size and quality, remove damaged produce, and maintain a clean workspace. Reliability, punctuality, physical fitness and own transport are essential for this site.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Transport: Own transport required (no public transport access)

Key Responsibilities

As a Potato Grader, your duties will include:

• Grading potatoes according to size, quality, and specification
• Removing any damaged or unsuitable produce
• Carrying out general housekeeping duties including sweeping, shovelling, and keeping the workspace clean
• Performing manual handling and heavy lifting where required
• Building crates for storage and transportation of produce
• Working efficiently within a fast-paced production team to meet daily targets
