Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Potato Graders to work at a busy agricultural site. You will inspect and grade potatoes to quality standards and help prepare them for packing or dispatch.

Hourly pay is £12.71 with hours from 8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. This is a temporary/ongoing role with full training provided and ongoing support from The Best Connection team.

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural, food production, or grading is advantageous but not required.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect potatoes for quality, size and condition.
• Sort and grade potatoes according to requirements.
• Remove damaged, unsuitable or poor-quality produce.
• Operate and monitor grading and conveyor equipment.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working area.
• Follow all site health & safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Carry out other general duties as required by the site management.

Requirements

• Previous agricultural, food production or grading experience is advantageous but not essential.
