Job summary

Mploy is recruiting for two Yard Operatives to join a local manufacturing team near Dorchester. This hands-on role sits in a busy yard environment and requires physical work, reliability and the ability to work as part of a small team.

Key duties include yard organisation, material handling, lifting up to 25kg, and collaboration with the yard and production colleagues while following health and safety rules. Immediate starts available for full-time weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with regular manual handling and physical work.
• Good level of spoken English.
• Basic numeracy/mathematics skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• General yard duties and keeping work areas organised.
• Bagging and handling materials.
• Lifting and moving bags/materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Preparing materials and products as required.
• Assisting other members of the yard and production team.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.
